-> doing the right thing, everyday;;
Hi guys, this is Tzai Wei here posting. Sorry for not keeping the class blog alive... okay, I shall start typing and sounding long winded now...
2008 has been a memorable year for us, especially for some of our sports. Kudos to the C Division Tennis, Softball, Track, Wushu, Volleyball and X Country teams for all getting Top 4 finishes in their respective sports. As for the other teams that did not do as well, we can all take pride in their gallant efforts. Well done to the Table Tennis and Basketball teams as well, who clinched a top 8 and top 16 position respectively. In Academics, many of us have performed way below par and we must start anew from 2009 to achieve good results. In terms of discipline, we also have not been that obedient at times =X... however...As the saying goes...
" A year older, a year wiser " It has already been a year since we came into Secondary School life and I think many of us have become more matured now as compared to last year. We probably did not get our priorities right last year but I firmly believe that we will be more focused and driven in Academics and Sports this year. Guys, I understand that some of us have a really hectic training schedule, but as long as we manage our time well and be more disciplined... I don't see why any of us can't achieve in Sports and also in Studies. There have been several "misunderstandings" in class last year but guys, we all make up a team, and we are all brothers. So, I hope that we would bury all hatchets we had with one another... and be more united than ever. And I would like to take this oppurtunity on behalf of Mr Goh (Yong Han) to thank Mr Tay for giving his all and teaching us last year... he may have fallen ill in the last few months of 2008 but he stayed strong throughout the ordeal and has made enough progress to come back to Catholic High this year. Well, he could have so easily extended his medical leave for a couple of months more but no, he came back to work as soon as he was fit enough. This is something that we must learn from him, his willingness to step out of the comfort zone. We can apply this in our studies and sports... and maybe we can run that five more rounds... maybe we can do that extra 5 pages. Well, thats all long winded Tzai Wei has got to say. I apologise for any spelling or vocabulary mistakes, my english aint the best y'know!
